Dyson announced the launch of its first handheld fan, the HushJet Mini Cool, featuring its proprietary HushJet air projection system.

The fan delivers a focused airflow of up to 25 meters per second, equivalent to 55 miles per hour. This development marks a significant expansion into portable cooling solutions for Dyson.

The HushJet Mini Cool utilizes a brushless motor that spins up to 65,000 RPM and weighs only 7.5 ounces. It includes five speeds along with a boost mode for enhanced airflow. This model charges via USB-C and comes with a charging stand. The design allows the fan to stand independently, making it suitable for desk use. The rechargeable battery lasts up to six hours on a full charge.

The retail price for the HushJet Mini Cool is $100, a relatively low price point for Dyson products but higher than typical handheld fans. The fan will be available in three colors: gray, red, and blue. The gray model will be available for purchase starting tomorrow. The red variant is scheduled for release in May, while the blue version will be available in June.
