Sony has announced the first PlayStation State of Play livestream of 2026, set for February 12 at 5 p.m. ET. The event will last over an hour and showcase titles from PlayStation Studios, third-party projects, and indie games for PS5.
Viewers can watch on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel, available in English, Japanese, or with English subtitles, or on Twitch.
As the year’s first State of Play, the stream aims to generate excitement for Sony’s upcoming releases. Bungie’s Marathon, scheduled for March 5, is expected to appear. MLB The Show 26, releasing March 17, will likely receive coverage. Housemarque’s Saros, the follow-up to Returnal arriving March 20, could also feature. A new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, due later in 2026, remains possible, though Sony might reserve it for a summer showcase.
The previous State of Play occurred in November and focused exclusively on games from Asia and Japan. Prior to that, Sony hosted a showcase at Tokyo Game Show in September, which included the first gameplay look at Wolverine.
