Google has added slide deck and infographic customization features to its NotebookLM mobile app for Android and iOS. The update brings the app closer to the full functionality of the website version.

In the Studio tab, pencil icons now appear next to the Infographic and Slide Deck options. Previously, the apps generated content using only default settings.

Infographic customization includes options for Orientation (Landscape, Portrait, or Square), Sources, Prompt, and Language.

Slide Deck customization provides Format choices: Detailed Deck, which includes full text and details suitable for emailing or standalone reading; and Presenter Slides, featuring clean visuals with key talking points for speaking support. Additional options cover Language, Length (Short, Default, or Long for Google AI Ultra subscribers), Sources, and Prompt.

The rollout of these customization features began last week and is now available to more users. If not visible, users can force-stop the app to trigger the update.

Google also released Video Overviews for the mobile app this week. However, the mobile Studio tab lacks Mind Map, Reports, and Data Table features, and Video Overviews have no customization options.
