Pixel Feature Drop December 2022 is upon us. The new Pixel 7 clear calling feature is one of many new and exciting features. Let’s dive into the features of the highly anticipated Pixel 7.

It’s hard to believe that Android 13 has been with us for four months, bringing many enhancements and enhanced stability to phones worldwide. The first Feature Drop since the release of the Pixel 7 series is due to Pixel users as well if you’ve been paying careful attention to the calendar. You’re in luck if you purchased one of Google’s most recent smartphones during Black Friday sales; you’ll soon be able to test out several new features.

However, it’s not the only Pixel 7-specific function included in today’s release. For anyone using one of the brand’s newest handsets, VPN by Google One is now active at no additional cost, as we reported last week, and that plan is now official. Even when using the Wi-Fi at your neighborhood coffee shop,

Google’s VPN should help keep your surfing activities safer when it is activated. Although a third-party app may be necessary to get around streaming geo-restrictions, this should enough for basic security.

Pixel products are available in Google Store.

What updates have got on the Pixel feature drop December 2022?

Google’s flagship Pixel seems to have greatly improved with its new features. The new features of Pixel 7, which is expected to be faster than its previous models, are also quite a lot. On the Pixel feature drop December 2022 we got a lot more information on the phone. Let’s take a look at them together.

Pixel 7 clear calling

When speaking to someone in a noisy area, Pixel 7 Clear Calling technology makes an effort to eliminate background noise. It won’t be added to Pixel 6 phones in the future and will only be available on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. The Pixel 6 series features a first-generation Tensor custom processor, which is reportedly missing some second-generation secret sauce.

Pixel 7 Clear Calling is expected to be working with both phone and Pixel Buds Pro built-in microphones. For the time being, all of that will only be available to Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users. Other Tensor-powered devices are expected to get Clear Calling eventually, although it’s unclear when.

Google’s Matthew Flegal, a representative, said:

“Clear Calling requires the capabilities of the Google Tensor G2 processor, so it will not roll back to Pixel 6 models.”

Built-in Google VPN

We also witnessed last week, VPN by Google One is now operational for anyone using one of the brand’s newest handsets at no additional cost, and today has been made official with the Pixel feature drop December 2022.

Even when using the Wi-Fi at your neighborhood coffee shop, Google’s VPN should keep your surfing activities safer when it is running. Anyone seeking to get around streaming geo-restrictions may want to use a third-party program, but for basic security, this ought to work.

App improvements

We are beyond thrilled that when many voices are identified, the Recorder will receive speaker labels. The Recorder is now even smarter than before, and we rely on it more than ever when performing on-site interviews because its live transcriptions are crucial.

The combined Security and Privacy hub that Google promised back in the early Android 13 beta tests is now being implemented, making it simpler to locate and access important data on a single page.

As Pixel continues to expand its global brand, Cough and Snore detection and Live Chat Translate are now accessible in new regions with additional language support.

Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro users are also not forgotten

Of course, the Pixel Watch is also included in today’s feature drop, making it the first time a wearable has been included in one of Google’s quarterly updates. Along with the December security patch, there is also a small hint as to what will come next.

Despite being unprepared for today’s launch, spatial audio support will be available on Pixel in January. We’ll have to wait and see if an official launch extends Google’s innovative approach to surround sound to more than just a single set of earphones as it appears to be tied to the Pixel Buds Pro. In the interim, the December Feature Drop is now available, so grab a Pixel 4a or later-compatible phone and start pushing the update button.
