PlayStation Plus August 2022 will include some of the most iconic Yakuza series, such as the Kazuma Kiryu saga and the most recent installment Yakuza: Like A Dragon. 8 Yakuza games will join the catalog gradually beginning next month. Fans of Sega’s classic series will be able to enjoy its unique blend of crunchy action, explorable districts, mini-games, and intriguing storylines.
In August, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be added to the list of PlayStation Plus Monthly Games. When the games are released as part of the Playstation Plus August 2022 game catalog, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users may start Kazuma Kiryu’s epic journey through the criminal underground with Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Later this year, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will wrap out Kiryu’s saga for Extra and Premium members, according to the latest PlayStation blog. Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0 brings back the debauchery, splendor, and untamed glamor of the 1980s. The main character Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, battle it out in Tokyo and Osaka. Discover how the former ends up in a world of difficulty when a straightforward debt collection goes wrong. Then discover Goro Majima’s “regular” existence as the owner of a cabaret club by putting yourself in his silver-toed shoes.
Yakuza Kiwami

On the PS2, the initial Yakuza game appeared in 2005. This PS4 remake completely reconstructs that experience. As Kazuma Kiryu returns to the streets of Japan after completing a ten-year jail sentence for a crime he didn’t commit in order to save his best buddy, follow his early years.
Yakuza Kiwami 2

The sequel to Yakuza gets the remake treatment as well, modernizing the first and expanding it with a playable adventure featuring Goro Majima that takes place before the main game’s events. A year after the first Yakuza’s events, Ryuji Goda, also known as the Dragon of Kansai, is killed, forcing Kazuma Kiryu out of his quiet life to mediate a truce between opposing clans.
