We have gathered all iPhone 14 Pro leaks for those who want to know more about its specs, price, release date, design, cameras, battery life, and more.
All iPhone 14 Pro leaks (April 2022)
The iPhone 14 Pro, which is rumored to be announced in September, will be Apple’s greatest chance yet to shake up the iPhone line by introducing a potentially revolutionary form. So far, iPhone 14 Pro leaks have suggested everything from the death of the notch to the return of Touch ID. Some people say Touch ID will make a return with iPhone 14 while keeping Face ID.
It’s likely that the iPhone 13 Plus is long overdue; while the iPhone 13 Pro is undoubtedly an excellent upgrade over its predecessor, it isn’t quite a dramatic step forward. Throughout this whole process, Apple hasn’t made much progress since the iPhone 11 Pro.
Apple will have to bring its A-game to the iPhone 14 Pro in the face of stiff competition from Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Fortunately, based on iPhone 14 Pro leaks and rumors so far, Apple’s next Professional Edition may be doing just that. The iPhone 14 Pro might feature significant modifications when compared to other iPhone 14 models. We’ve gathered all iPhone 14 leaks and rumors below, let’s get going.
iPhone 14 latest rumors
The iPhone 14 Pro’s corners might get a major makeover and it will most likely come with a dark purple color option. We may not receive USB-C iPhone 14 Pro versions, but at least we’ll be able to utilize the current Lightning connector for faster data transmission.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s planned under-display Face ID and camera technology iPhone won’t arrive until 2024. An upgraded front camera with autofocus and a larger aperture is planned for all of the iPhone 14 models.
I think the real full-screen iPhone will come in 2024. High-end iPhones in 2024 would adopt an under-display front camera alongside the under-display Face ID. A low-light condition is detrimental to front camera quality, and ISP & algorithm are critical for quality improvements. https://t.co/vWjeZYZUPK

iPhone 14 Pro design
We continue our iPhone 14 Pro leaks with design factors. Jon Prosser shared some renders supposedly based on leaked information showing significant changes for the iPhone 14 Pro.
Prosser’s mock-ups show three cameras flush with the back of the iPhone 14 Pro. However, if you like it, you may be disappointed by rival drawings that depict the iPhone 14 Pros looking a lot like their iPhone 13 predecessors. The raised camera array is returning, and it will be larger on the iPhone 14 Pro; according to the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks, the new phone will also be 0.2mm thicker than the iPhone 13 Pro and Max Pro.
The camera module is also expected to grow in size some iPhone 14 Pro leaks say. According to an Apple insider, the growth of the camera module is due to a larger component being required to house a 48MP camera. As a result, another rumor claims that the corners of the iPhone 14 Pro (but not the Plus) will become rounder in order to match the new module’s curved edges.
The elimination of the notoriously hated display notch is one of the most significant design changes from prior iPhone 14 Pro rumors. Ross Young reveals some new iPhone 14 Pro leaks, Apple will include a pill-shaped cutout for Face ID as well as a punch hole, thus essentially two cutouts.
VNchocoTaco, a Twitter leaker known as ShrimpApplePro, posted alleged CAD designs and precise dimensions of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. These iPhone 14 Pro leaks promise that the new Pro Max will be somewhat wider and deeper than its predecessor while retaining smaller bezels.
Here are the images of the cad file and full measurements of iPhone 14 Pro Max that I obtained. I will share more details about it in the coming newsletter. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/CTLLVOtgb7

Display Supply Chain consultants has once again emphasized the likelihood of an iPhone 14 Pro with two camera cutouts, while upstart Young claimed that the next model would have no notches. However, the regular iPhone will have to wait another year before receiving a notch-free display, which helps to enhance the appeal of going pro with the next iPhone.
A new series of CAD renderings have given us yet another taste of what the iPhone 14 Pro could look like with a notch-free design. The somewhat asymmetrical appearance appears to be out of Apple’s style, but it is undoubtedly unique.
There were reports that the return of Touch ID would come in the form of an under-display fingerprint sensor. However, this is still a topic of debate. According to Ming Chi-Kuo, there won’t be an iPhone with Touch ID or under-display Face ID for at least another two years.
This would have been a bummer because we all are wearing face masks, having an alternative to Face ID is quite useful. If you are asking like can you unlock your iPhone even with the face mask on, yes you can.
Apple’s Face ID can now identify a real individual when they are wearing a mask, as stated in iOS 15.4. It works exceptionally well, implying that Apple may have already addressed the need for fingerprint-centric biometrics.
The colors and pricing for the iPhone 14 Pro have yet to be determined, but we’ve already fixed the color options for the iPhone 14 Pro. According to the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks in addition to the conventional Graphite, Silver, and Gold Pro iPhone colors, a dark purple would be offered this year.
Another leak, this time from Weibo, further supports the existence of an iPhone 14 Pro and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. If the aforementioned picture is legitimate, the display sizes for the next Pro versions will be identical to those presently available. That’s 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches on each side. There are rumors suggesting Apple will replace iPhone 14 mini with another 6.7-inch model in 2022.
iPhone 14 Pro USB-C
There are numerous iPhone 14 Pro leaks hinting that the iPhone 14 Pro will feature USB-C connections, which makes sense due to the fact that many of Apple’s other devices already include it. However, more up to date rumors state that Apple will continue using Lightning rather than USB-C, but use updated Lightning ports with faster USB 3.0 data transmission. That comes as the EU draws closer to adopting USB Type C for portable gadgets like phones as the standard charger. We know that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max might come with a USB-C port.
For some people, the USB-C connection on the iPhone 14 Pro would be a must-have feature. In reality, as it can degrade over time, the Lightning connector is perhaps the most significant drawback of the iPhone. This makes charging your phone quite challenging. Unfortunately, given how well established and inclusive Apple’s ecosystem of add-ons is, Apple isn’t likely to abandon Lightning unless it has to. But Europe wants one charger that works for every device. There’s one Apple phone with a USB-C connection, did you know that USB-C iPhone sold for $86,001?
iPhone 14 Pro display
A 120Hz dynamic refresh rate screen was one of the most noticeable enhancements on the iPhone 13 Pro. The screen could transition from 120Hz to as little as 10Hz when a high refresh rate was required, saving battery life in the process.
We can’t imagine the iPhone 13 Pro changing anything, and neither have previous rumors indicated it would. However, a next-generation LTPO panel may be utilized, as seen in the OnePlus 10 Pro, which could enhance power efficiency.
According to the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks, the iPhone 14 Pro will retain a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will keep its predecessor’s 6.7-inch display. The same display sizes as those on the iPhone 13 Pro are said to be available for purchase with the iPhone 14 Pro, according to Shadow_Leak.

iPhone 14 Pro cameras
Don’t expect a dramatic increase in the number of cameras the iPhone 14 Pro will have, as the Pro phones are supposed to use the same basic configuration as current models. Given how often Apple phones appear in our top camera phones list, it’s not a negative thing at all. By the way, the iPhone 14 Pro will have a hole-punch camera, new reports say.
According to the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks, the iPhone 14 Pro will feature a 48MP main camera, which could be enough of a change from the current 12MP cameras that Apple has utilized for years. While Cupertino’s computational photography is excellent, having additional pixels to work with may allow the iPhone 14 Pro to process light and details better.
However, a fresh leak from China claims that the iPhone 14 Pro will not feature a 48MP main sensor. It’s Fat says this year’s Pro models will use the same IMX703 12MP camera— which has dimensions of 1/1.67 inches and pixels of 1.9 μm — as the iPhone 13 Pro.
No modifications have been announced for the ultrawide camera, but we would be shocked if some effort was not made to increase the field of view and reduce edge distortion.
Furthermore, there’s room for the telephoto camera to get a zoom boost, as an Apple patent suggests that the firm is developing a periscope-style zooming camera. If such a feature were going to be included in an iPhone, it would come with the iPhone 14 Pro. But Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the periscope camera won’t appear until the iPhone 15 in 2023.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts one of the first rumors about the front camera for both the Pro and regular iPhone 14 models. The front camera is expected to get autofocus, which would improve FaceTime conversations, according to the recent iPhone 14 Pro leaks. The analyst also anticipates a larger aperture — f/1.9 on the iPhone 14 vs. f/2.2 on the current iPhone — which may assist with low-light photographs. According to the latest iPhone 14 Pro rumors, 48 MP camera and 8GB RAM will be featured in the model.

The front camera of four new iPhone 14 models in 2H22 would likely upgrade to AF (autofocus) & about f/1.9 aperture (vs. iPhone 13's FF (fixed-focus) and f/2.2).— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) April 19, 2022
iPhone 14 Pro specs
It’s difficult to determine what the iPhone 14 Pro will have in terms of specs since there are no solid reports about it. It wouldn’t be hard to expect a new iPhone model with a better CPU, as has been the case with every new iPhone.
We will undoubtedly see an A16 Bionic chip says the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks, with enhanced performance across the board in response to the A15 Bionic. That chip is expected to shift from a 5nm fabrication process node to a 4nm one. An Apple-made 5G modem could also be on the cards.
Essentially, the iPhone 14 Pro is expected to have a significantly higher CPU, GPU, and neural processing performance than the A15 Bionic. The difference may not be immediately apparent to the average user, but don’t expect the iPhone 14 Pro to struggle with any task that is given to it.
Despite reports to the contrary, Apple’s next iPhone model will be powered by the A16 Bionic chip, according to Kuo. The only two models tipped to include the A16 Bionic are the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which suggests that the iPhone 14 will continue using the A15 processor. This would be a first for Apple; it has always given new iPhones better chips. According to Shadow_Leak, a second leak corroborates this. Perhaps because of last year’s incredible chip scarcity, perhaps because of other factors, but for now it’s just speculation.
Only two Pro models would upgrade to the A16 processor, while the 14 & 14 Max will remain the A15. All four new models will likely come with 6GB RAM, with the difference being LPDDR 5 (14 Pro & 14 Pro Max) vs. LPDDR 4X (14 & 14 Max). https://t.co/tHcszIz6gX
— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) March 13, 2022
But things have become even more perplexing, with a fresh scoop claiming that the iPhone 14 will employ the A15 Bionic chip found in this year’s iPhone 13 Pro models, which has 6GB RAM. According to teardowns, the chip is fitted with 6GB RAM, whereas the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4GB RAM. So it would be an upgrade in some respects, but not as significant as a full chip upgrade would be, thus raising the appeal aspect of the iPhone 14 Pro over its regular variant.
The iPhone 14 Pro is said to have 8GB RAM, according to a recent leak. Apple’s efficiency-focused strategy has allowed it to accomplish more with less RAM than Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra, which suggests that increasing the onboard RAM would make the iPhone 14 Pro a force to be reckoned with.
The current iPhone models, on the other hand, are not slow in any way. As a result, having the extra RAM may be considered excessive. Analyst Jeff Pu, on the other hand, believes that all four iPhone 14 variants will have 6GB RAM. It’s possible that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a 1TB storage capacity, but no confirmed reports have emerged regarding it.
The latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks suggest that Apple seems to believe that the ability to connect is a distinguishing feature for mobile devices. Recent TV commercials have highlighted the Apple Watch’s potential to contact emergency services in the event of a fall or other calamity. Adding the ability to communicate with emergency services through satellite directly from both the iPhone and Apple Watch would be an expansion of that capability.
iPhone 14 battery
There have been no reports about battery size or capacity yet. However, given that the iPhone 13 Pro had an endurance of over 11 hours, we’re confident that the iPhone 14 Pro will match or exceed this. The iPhone 13 Max achieved an over 12 hours runtime, so we anticipate the iPhone 14 Max to do likewise or better as Apple improves integrated chip and phone performance.
With the launch of 5G smartphones, Apple will have to figure out how to use a new less powerful chip in its iPhones. We’re expecting the iPhone 14 Pro to employ a new, smaller 5G modem chip. It should be easier to run on less power and allow for more room for the battery to grow into as a result of the smaller size. The already outstanding battery life of the iPhone 13 can be enhanced even further as a consequence of this.
Unfortunately, Qualcomm’s new 5G chip, the Snapdragon X70, might be missing out on iPhone 14 Pro features like those included in other Qualcomm phones. The processor will include a 5G AI processor, which would make it the first of its kind and enable the modem system to utilize artificial intelligence to improve a phone’s antenna efficiency and monitor 5G beams going into and out of a 5G phone. Though AI can assist manage sub-6GHz 5G signals as well, Qualcomm believes that it will be particularly useful for mmWave-based 5G networks such as stadiums and arenas since it can help optimize antenna performance.
The iPhone 14 Pro may also get the ability to connect to satellite networks, in addition to its cellular and Wi-Fi connections. That was a feature mentioned ahead of time for the iPhone 13’s release; while it didn’t arrive on time, reliable sources claim that emergency satellite communications will be available on the iPhone 14 models. When you don’t have adequate cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, you may send text messages to emergency services via satellite networks, letting them know your location. iPhone 14 Pro leaks: release date and price
Naturally, Apple is a bit more discreet when it comes to the specifics of its next iPhones, especially release dates and pricing. Based on previous launches, we think it’s likely that the iPhone 14 range will debut in September.
Engineering validation testing is now rumored to be taking place on the iPhone 14. This would imply that the four phones expected to be in the range are now finished, hopefully including all of the rumors we’ve heard.
The iPhone 14 Pro is likely to fall in line with the iPhone 13 Pro, keeping the starting price at $999. While Samsung’s Galaxy S22 now costs $799, Apple isn’t expected to decrease the price of its top-end flagship phone. These are everything you need to know about the latest iPhone 14 Pro leaks.
