Opensea Solana integration is official now. OpenSea, a prominent non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, has revealed a sneak peek of its long-awaited link between NFTs and the Solana blockchain, which is now scheduled for April.

OpenSea shared a trailer video on Twitter showcasing a list of Solana NFT requests from the community, with the following caption: “The most hiddend secret in web3.”

OpenSea currently supports only Ethereum, Polygon and Klaytn NFTs, and it is the world’s largest marketplace with over US$24 billion in total sales volume.

While most NFTs are based on Ethereum, Solana also has its own collections, such as Solana Monkey Business and Degenerate Ape Academy.

The adoption of Solana by OpenSea may have significant impacts on Magic Eden, the marketplace that hosted over 90% of all Solana NFT sales during the last seven days.

Because of this, it was only a matter of time before OpenSea made its move. After Jane Manchun Wong published proof of OpenSea working with Solana integration and blockchain Phantom wallet support in January 2022, it was only a matter of time before they made their move.
