When Google will launch Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch? The iPhone 14 and Galaxy S22 are getting a lot of attention, but there are other smartphones on the market this year. Between flagship launches, several companies release less expensive devices. The Pixel 5a did not launch until August last year, but don’t expect the Pixel 6a to be released that long. According to a recent leak, Google is aiming to release the Pixel 6a in May of this year.
Max Jambor ( @MaxJmb ), a prolific leaker, stated on Sunday that Google has scheduled the Pixel 6a for May. He didn’t offer any additional information or cite a source for the leak. We only know that Jambor thinks Google will launch the Pixel 6a in May.

Last year, 9to5Google revealed some of the features of Google’s upcoming mid-range phone. According to the site, the Pixel 6a will have a Tensor GS101 chip similar to that found in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Pixel 6a: Expected specs
The Pixel 6a will have three cameras, down from the six on its bigger brothers. The rear-facing camera has been rebranded to “Wide Angle Camera,” but it’s still based on the 12.2-megapixel IMX363 sensor used in the Pixel 3, 4, and 5 models. The remaining two cameras (12MP ultrawide and 8MP selfie) were present on Google’s previous Pixel phone.
The design of the Pixel 6a has not been confirmed, but leaks suggest that it will be similar to Google’s newest flagship. The rear camera bar from last year’s Pixel 6, which was distinctive, will be carried over to the Pixel 6a, preserving its distinctiveness in a competitive market. The Pixel 6a may also possibly be the first A-series smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor and no headphone jack.
