How to transfer content from an iPhone to a Samsung phone using Smart Switch?
The process can be done via Wi-Fi or via a USB cable. According to Samsung’s instructions, with the help of Smart Switch, we can switch from iPhone to any Samsung device in five steps. You will need Android 4.3 or later on your device to be able to use Smart Switch.
The easiest way to use Smart Switch is via Wi-Fi. Both devices will need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You will first need to install the app on your device if it is not already installed. If your phone is a new model, you may find Smart Switch under Settings > Cloud & Accounts > Smart Switch.
Click Start and follow the instructions. After accepting the usual terms and conditions, we choose the Wireless option and then Receive. Finally, as we are going to move content from iPhone to Samsung, we check the iOS option.
Smart Switch will ask for your iCloud username and password. This means that you will need to sync your iPhone with iCloud beforehand in order to upload the latest version of your Apple smartphone content to the cloud. Make sure you have checked all the options to sync except those you don’t want to move to your new phone.
Back on your Samsung, in Smart Switch, you’ll need to log in to iCloud and select the data you want to copy. Photos, music, messages, contacts, contacts, apps, calls, videos, etc. Under each item, you will see how much of that content occupies your phone’s storage. After you start the transfer, wait for the process to end and that’s it!
