Huawei presents the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG as its first watch with ECG (electrocardiogram) that has been made official in China.
Huawei presented yesterday the P50 and P50 Pro, which we expect to arrive soon worldwide. The brand has not left us alone with these phones, as they have also presented their new smartwatch the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG. It is their first smartwatch with ECG (electrocardiogram).
This new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG is a renewed version of the Watch 2 Pro that the brand launched last year, to which they have added this function of the electrocardiogram, a function that we are seeing more and more in watches like those of Samsung.

Huawei Watch 2 Pro ECG features
This new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG maintains the same design as the model launched last year, with its circular AMOLED screen of 1.39 inches in size. The big change we have been left within this case is the introduction of the ECG sensor in the watch, thus being the first of the brand to have this sensor. It is also the first Huawei smartwatch to obtain medical certification in China.
In addition to this sensor, the brand has introduced sensors to capture heart rate continuously, blood oxygen saturation level, sleep analysis, stress level. It also has more than 100 training modes to record all the sports you do.
Another novelty in this Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG comes in the connectivity section with its support for NFC, so that mobile payments can be made with it. It would not be strange if this NFC support is limited only to its launch in China.
In terms of autonomy, the watch gives up to 12 days of battery life with normal use. In the case of intensive use, it stays at about 7 days.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG price and release date
This Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG has been officially presented in China, although at the moment there is no word on its launch in other markets. Its price in China is 2,668 yuan, which is about $413.
