Twitter keeps adding new features and today we’ve been able to learn that the platform now allows you to play YouTube videos without leaving the app. A few weeks ago it announced the “Super Follow” feature, a subscription tool to bring users closer to special and personalized content. In addition, it is testing “Spaces”, audio rooms that try to simulate the ClubHouse experience, as well as Fleets, simulating Instagram stories
You can upload 4K images on Twitter
Twitter has announced new features related to its app for iOS and Android through its official account. Two new features have been integrated that will improve the quality of the multimedia content visible on the social network, in addition to improving the user experience with this type of content.
Now testing on Android and iOS: when you Tweet a single image, how the image appears in the Tweet composer is how it will look on the timeline –– bigger and better. pic.twitter.com/izI5S9VRdX

The platform will let users watch YouTube videos directly on the app
The first new feature is related to images that are uploaded individually. From now on, if a single photo is uploaded, it will look much bigger with better quality. This is especially noticeable in the images uploaded in vertical format, which will acquire a higher resolution by occupying almost the entire screen, leaving tweets above and below.
In addition, another tool related to images is starting to be tested. It will be possible to upload high-definition content with resolutions of up to 4K. Last but not least, Twitter now allows you to play YouTube videos without leaving the app.
