Bill Gates participated in an interview within the Clubhouse platform and among all the statements he made, he said he preferred an Android phone to an iPhone and explained the main reasons for this decision.
Bill Gates doesn’t want to use an iPhone
The rivalry between Android and iPhone has been going on for more than a decade and the perfect mobile does not exist, but Bill Gates is clear about why an Android mobile is better than an Apple phone.
The Clubhouse is very trendy you can participate in the talks yourself, so it is not surprising that you meet with such well-known personalities as Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Drake, Ashton Kutcher, Oprah, etc.
It has been inside Clubhouse where Bill Gates has been interviewed by Andrew Ross Sorkin, a journalist from the New York Times and CNBC, they have talked about various current issues and throughout the conversation, the mythical question came up, what do you prefer Android or iPhone?
To use Clubhouse you need to have iOS, as the app is only available on Apple’s app store and is expected to come to Android soon. People noticed that Gates had an iPhone, although it is not strictly necessary, as the trendy social network can also be used on an iPad and an iPod Touch.
To the famous question, Gates replied that his phone is an Android and made it clear that he is interested in technology and likes to keep abreast of everything, so he has also tried iPhone from time to time. (As a secondary mobile we understand).
The main reason Gates uses Android is that some manufacturers pre-install Microsoft software and make it easier for him to use it daily. Also, he says that these phones are more flexible in their integration between the Android operating system and Microsoft software.
When we talk about Microsoft software on Android phones, we mean that many phones come standard with productivity applications such as Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, One Drive, Teams, among others.
Bill Gates said he was more used to Android and also commented that many of his friends have iPhones. We add that it is neither bad nor good to have one mobile or another, each user has different needs and hence the wide range of possibilities in the cell phone market.
