The iPhone 12 has also not had the demand that Apple expected. According to analysts, Apple has reduced production of the iPhone 12 by 9 million units. Both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro are quite similar in features, with the former having a better demand despite being $200 more expensive.
Due to the low demand, Yang claims that the iPhone 12 mini supply chain could stop making the iPhone 12 mini by the second quarter of 2021.
Yang also claims that Tim Cook’s company could launch the 3rd generation iPhone SE in the first half of 2022, with a design very similar to the one it currently shows, and that it could also launch a low-cost version of the iPhone 11 sometime next year.
