Microsoft has presented the Surface Pro 7 Plus, it is a new version of the famous 2-in-1, and today we are going to talk about its specs, price and release date.
A Surface Pro 8 had been rumored for weeks and Microsoft has chosen to upgrade the current model by keeping the same screen, base design, magnesium chassis. Also, distinctive elements such as the rear screen support and otherwise excellent finishes are still there.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus specs
This does not mean that the Surface Pro 7 Plus is not interesting because it has been very well renovated with the latest available hardware. Especially because of the presence of the 11th generation Tiger Lake Intel Core processors. Microsoft will offer the option of equipping Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 versions to cover different performance needs.
These processors include the new Intel Xe graphics and can be accompanied by up to 32GB LPDDR4 RAM. For internal storage, there are new features, including a removable SSD M.2 (up to 1TB capacity).
The renewal of the internal hardware has made possible a new thermal design model (TDM), which has left the room to increase the battery size to 50.4 Wh. There are also innovations in connectivity, with support for the Wi-Fi 6 or the option of integrated LTE Advanced thanks to a Snapdragon X20 modem, to support mobile broadband networks with physical SIM or eSIM.
Surface Pro 7 Plus maintains support for Bluetooth, a headset jack, USB-C ports, Dolby stereo speakers, TPM firmware, and a set of cameras where the quality for video conferencing and the potential of the IR sensor for authentication and security tasks with Windows Hello.

The new 2-in-1 Surface will be available from January 15 for business and education customers in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and European countries. There are several configurations, we leave you with a list of their respective prices:
- With Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and a free trial of the suite Microsoft 365 its base price will start at $899 with a Core i3 CPU, 8GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD.
- The Core i5 model with the same amount of RAM and storage as the previous one will start at $999.
- The version with 4G-LTE will only be included with Core i5 processors starting at $1,149.
- The version with a Core i7, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD will be sold for $2,799.
