IF you don’t know how to create a secondary Instagram account linked to your main profile, we are going to help you out. Instagram is a social networking and messaging application that allows you to use multiple accounts in a single application. For example, one personal account, one professional account, one for your cat, one for your turtle, and any other ideas in between.

Adding accounts and switching from one to another has been possible for years, although recently it has become easier to create new accounts linked to other accounts. They share the same login information so you don’t need to remember multiple passwords.
How to create a secondary Instagram account linked to your main profile?
If you haven’t created a new Instagram account for a long time, you may not be aware of the possibility of creating linked accounts, which share login information.
The way to create a new account of this type is the same as creating any other type of account on Instagram. There are several ways to do this – for example, from the settings – although one quick way is to tap on your profile in the bottom bar and then click on Add Account.
In the menu that opens, you must tap on Create New Account, and then choose a username that is not in use. This account will be internally linked to yours, but will still have its own public username. In fact, only you can see which accounts are linked to each other.
If you want this new account to be linked to another existing account, choose one of your profiles and press Next.
As indicated by Instagram on the previous screen, your new account is separate, but they share login and contact information (email, phone), which is not public but visible to Instagram. The rest of the steps are the same as creating any other Instagram account: completing registration, uploading a profile picture, starting some accounts, and so on.
When you’re done, you can switch between the two accounts with a long tap on the icon with your profile photo in the bottom bar. If you later log in to another device (such as another mobile), by logging in with your primary account, you will automatically have access to your secondary account, without having to do anything else.
