Whatsapp will bring the “vacation mode” soon. WhatsApp has been working on a this mode since last year. But what exactly is vacation mode? It is a function that, beyond what its name may indicate, prevents archived chats from being automatically deactivated when we receive messages from a contact or group that we have hidden with this function.

Whatsapp will bring the “vacation mode” soon
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the growth of teleworking more than any other cause. And one of the problems surrounding this growing reality is that people who work remotely are experiencing greater problems disconnecting, which has led apps and companies to take precautions.
In the previous beta, when a message was reached an archived chat, it would remain archived, but only if it had previously been silenced. With the advances that have been seen in the last beta, it will no longer be necessary: if a chat is archived and a message is received, it will remain there regardless of whether or not it has been previously silenced.
WhatsApp will show you the message: “Move chats that you want to keep muted here”. “Chats with new messages won’t return to main chat list”.
Whatsapp will bring the “vacation mode” soon. The feature will be greatly appreciated when it arrives, but in both desktop and mobile operating systems, it would be good if Apple, Google and Microsoft implemented their own ‘vacation mode’ so we could choose to not receive notifications from certain applications, or even from certain people.
