Huawei will launch an intelligent display for cars with HarmonyOS

Huawei will launch an intelligent display for cars with HarmonyOS. The latest information from China reveals that Huawei is very close to launching an intelligent display for cars and will have HarmonyOS to make our driving and onboard experience safer and more intuitive.

The smart car market is another market that different technology companies fight for a position to represent a significant economic percentage in the financial results.

Google and Apple have already moved ahead in making our vehicles smarter thanks to the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Huawei does not want to lose ground and they are preparing a smart screen for cars with HarmonyOS.

Although HarmonyOS was considered as the replacement of Google in Huawei mobiles, the Chinese company is finally establishing it in other markets such as smart cars. Now, from the social network Weibo, a well-known filtering company assures that an intelligent screen for automobiles that will come with the HarmonyOS and it is close to being launched in China.

This launch will not be a surprise, given that last year Huawei’s consumer executive director, Yu Chengdong, revealed that the smart screen strategy covers up to four scenarios: home, office, sports and cars.

In addition, during the Huawei Developers Conference 2020 they held the HMS for Car Smart Mobility sub-forum with the theme “Exploring a better digital life for the car” which presented a new cloud service solution for smart cars.

Huawei is also known to be in discussions with automotive manufacturers such as Volvo and Hongqi as well as other partners for a joint project that could encompass this type of on-board technology.

Huawei will launch an intelligent display for cars with HarmonyOS. Obviously, this new intelligent display for cars with HarmonyOS would also have some relationship with mobile phones, watches, and many other devices, although we will see if the company manages to bring this technology to the West.
