Huawei has announced the date of the presentation of his next great mobile, Huawei Mate 40, it will be the last Huaweri with Kirin processor. There will be several different Huawei 40 models. Apart from the features they may or may not bring, these mobiles are going to be special for an extra reason: they will be the last ones (at least for a while) to bring the Kirin chip of Huawei‘s own design.

  • Huawei Mate 40 Porsche Design will have a special camera
  • Samsung earnings rise due to Huawei and US problems
  • HarmonyOS 2.0 is official: this is Huawei’s alternative to Android

As announced by Huawei Mobile, next October 22nd at 14:00 CEST the Mate 40 Series will be officially presented. These phones come as the second big release from Huawei this year after we saw the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro.

As with the Mate 30, these new Huawei Mate 40 will surely focus on the camera as an improvement over the P40 models. Some leaks reveal a giant four-lens rear camera. It also chooses the hole in the screen instead of a notch. Continuing with the screen, we see that it will have curved sides.

Huawei 40 will come with Kirin processor

As we saw in August of this year, Huawei was forced to stop making its own design Kirin processor that is currently being worn by its high-end smartphones. This is due to U.S. sanctions and bans on other companies collaborating with Huawei because they are on its blacklist. As a result, TSMC is no longer able to manufacture Kirin processors. This has caused the Huawei Mate 40 Series to be the last to assemble the brand’s processor.

As expected, the Huawei Mate 40 Series will also come without Google’s services. It is expected that the next processors of Huawei will be from Qualcomm and consequently we will have Snapdragon processors in future Huawei.

On October 22nd, many doubts and unknowns about these new high-end Huawei Mate 40 phones will be cleared up they will come with Kirin processors. We will be looking forward to it.
