In addition to the recent update of its Pavilion laptops, today two new models of HP Spectre have arrived.  Now, HP surprises us again with its elegant and innovative design, the incorporation of the new 11th generation Tiger Lake processors from Intel and several functions improved by artificial intelligence.

HP Spectre x360 14 has a 13.5-inch OLED panel. In addition, it is the first model of the Spectre family to include a 3:2 aspect ratio, which according to HP, offers users about 20% more vertical display space compared to the typical widescreen aspect ratio. With a great focus on content creators and mobility, we will again find a great color arrangement with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 1,000,000:1 contrast, with vivid and very realistic final color images. In addition, focused on your particular screen use option also includes a color shift function that reduces exposure to blue light, helping to protect the eyes of those who are often on their laptops.

Other features include a dedicated camera shutter button on the Fn key row, a button for quick access to the HP Command Center, or the active pencil holder. In addition to being the first model in the Spectre family to include an all-in-one keyboard with a fingerprint sensor, discreetly located between the Alt and left arrow keys.

As for its specifications, as already stated by HP, this laptop will support the Intel Core i7-1165G7 Tiger Lake processors, it will be available with up to 16GB LPDDR4x-3200 RAM (integrated and not updatable by the user), up to 1TB PCIe NVMe storage and 32GB Intel Optane memory. In addition, users get access to WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5 with the benefits of the latest connectivity technology, plus HP Quick Drop, the company’s own file transfer feature.

It is also worth noting that we have a laptop designed by Intel with the verified Intel Evo certificate of approval, which in addition to being very efficient in use, according to HP, will allow us to optimize energy and offer up to 17 hours of continuous use with a single charge.

For its part, the new HP Spectre x360 13 is presented under the same basic design as last year’s model, but with several important updates inside. This convertible will come equipped with a 13.3-inch touch screen with several panels to choose from, up to an OLED 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels), with an impressive 90% screen-body ratio. It will weigh 1.27 kilograms.

As for its specifications, for the moment the company has only unveiled a first sample configuration in which its Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB LPDDR4x-3733 integrated RAM (not upgradeable), 512GB PCIe NVMe storage, and 32GB Intel Optane memory stand out. However, it is expected that the HP Spectre x360 13 will arrive under multiple customizable versions, which will include larger versions of these latest generation processors, larger RAM, or the presence of a dedicated graphics card.

HP Spectre x360 has the same Intel Evo certificate and the same energy optimization. It will offer us a long autonomy of up to 17 hours per charge.

Finally, it is worth noting that the HP Spectre x360 13 has compatibility with the new Wi-Fi 6 and 5G wireless networks, being, in fact, the first consumer-oriented laptop of the company to include a 5G connectivity. It will also have an ethernet port, as well as other features such as its USB-A port at 5 GB/s, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a headset connector.

The initial prices will be $1199 for both laptops but the different configurations might be sold for more expensive prices. On the other hand, the 5G version of the HP Spectre x360 13 will be slightly delayed until the beginning of 2021, and its price is not confirmed.
