Dell XPS 13 (9310) is introduced and we are going to talk about its specs price and release date. Normally the renewal of the Dell XPS 13 is announced every year during CES in Las Vegas, but the manufacturer did not want to wait any longer and has announced the new models and the striking point is the new 11th generation Intel Core processors.
Dell XPS 13 (9310) specs
There are no surprises in the design of Dell XPS 13 (9310). Dell has been clear for years that the format works perfectly and there is no need to change it. Things change on the inside, and they do so essentially by integrating four different models of the 11th generation Intel Core processors, one with Core i3, one with i5, and two with i7 models.

Dell XPS 13 (9310) is improved its performance. The power of the CPU is relevant and is clearly higher than that of the 9300 models of 2020, but things really change when it comes to graphics thanks to the Intel Iris Xe Graphics cards, which integrate up to 96 execution units at 1,35GHz in the most powerful Core i7. For example, in the Core i5 this rate is 80 EUs at 1.30GHz. The Core i3 is the most modest with only 48 EUs at 1.25GHz.

There are other interesting improvements in Dell XPS 13 (9310) affecting the memory, now it consists of 4,267MHz LPDDR4x modules instead of the previous 3.73MHz ones.
Of course, we have the support of USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 interface that will offer exceptional data transfers and the possibility of connecting these devices to several external monitors without problems.
Design
Although the “pure” Dell XPS 13 does not change its design, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 does slightly. With this convertible format now it gains 7% of the screen thanks to better use due to the integration of some thinner frames, especially at the top and bottom. The screen format is still 16:10, and all panels are Dolby Vision certified.
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 also have new colors, which previously came in “platinum silver” and “arctic white” it now comes with two slightly different combinations, a “platinum silver” with the wrist rest in the traditional carbon fiber with dark tones, and the so-called “frost” with fiberglass wrist rests in “arctic white”.
The webcam of Dell XPS 13 (9310) though is still 720p and perhaps it is limited by the thinness of that upper frame. Here perhaps Dell should sacrifice that thinness to integrate a higher quality webcam, especially now that the demand in video conferencing scenarios is enormous.
Along with the options with Windows Dell already sells directly a Dell XPS 13 “Developer Edition” with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS pre-installed.
Dell XPS 13 (9310) price and availability
The new models of the Dell XPS 13 (9310) will be available in the United States and Canada starting from September 30 and will arrive in other countries in the upcoming weeks. Dell XPS 13 has a $999 price tag whereas the 2-in-1 convertible version will be sold for $1249.
