Russian search engine Yandex announced that Yandex.Money has a new service that will automatically pay traffic fines. The users will need to connect the state information and municipal payment systems to Yandex.Money, and it will send notifications when there are new fines and will be able pay the fines immediately.

It was possible with Yandex.Money to pay traffic fines for a while now, but the process was manual. Yandex specified that by using Yandex.Money it is possible to pay traffic fines of up to 750 rubles (around $13) and if you connect Yandex.Money to the system, the users will receive an unexpired grace period.

How to pay traffic fines automatically with Yandex.Money?

Money will be withdrawn from the electronic wallet or from the user’s bank card. The commission for the service will be 1% of the payment amount, but not less than 30 rubles ($0.5).

Yandex.Money fines are promised to be transferred immediately to the state information and municipal payments systems The users can connect the service in their user account pages. In the future, this will be possible in Yandex.Navigator app, the company noted.
