AMD has presented its new products and this time it was more than difficult to foresee the movement: they put two AMD bikes on sale.

AMD has caused some confusion with the announcement of its new products. In the competition that the various processor manufacturers are carrying out, and following NVIDIA’s move with its new GPUs, AMD has caused some astonishment by announcing its new line of AMD bikes.

AMD has put two bikes on sale on its official US website. It is true that it is not the first non-technology product launched by the company, since as other brands do, they also sell merchandise of all kinds, such as clothes with its logo or key rings, but the AMD bikes were not the advertisement that we expected.

In any case, these two AMD bikes lack too much technology, they aren’t even electric bikes. One of them is a bicycle suitable for urban use and the other is focused on the mountains. But surely there will be people who have an interest in them.

  • AMD could grab 50% of the CPU market share by mid-2021, analysts say

AMD Custom Cruiser Bike is the company’s commuter bike featuring a single speed, 18.5-inch frame, 26 “aluminum wheels, mudguards and a classic approach design that makes it very nice to look at, especially on the handlebar, as you can see in the image.

The AMD Custom Mountain Bike features 21 gears, an 18.5 “full suspension frame, MTB brakes, 26” alloy wheels, and a variety of Shimano parts. A much more aggressive and modern design stands out, in addition to the orange of the wheels

AMD fans who want to buy these bikes, the price in the United States is $299, a price that can really be interesting considering the technical and material characteristics of the AMD bikes. Now we have to wait if AMD surprises us again, hopefully with a technology closer to its business line.
