Samsung will likely unveil its Galaxy S26 lineup at a February Galaxy Unpacked event, following recent announcements at CES 2026.

Samsung’s new flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, will likely maintain a similar design to the Galaxy S25, featuring a flat front screen, frame, and rounded corners. Cameras will be housed in a vertical pill-shaped plateau on the back. Internal component updates, such as screens, chips, and camera sensors, are anticipated.

All Galaxy S26 phones are expected to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Yonhap News reports Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip might be used in some regions. These chips should enhance performance, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 models offering on-device AI processing capabilities.

A notable change for the Galaxy S26 is a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, according to leaker Ice Universe, a slight increase from the S25’s 6.2-inch screen. The S26 will reportedly include 12GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, and a 4,300mAh battery. The entry-level S26 is expected to retain the same cameras: a 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultrawide, 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and 12-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy S26+ will reportedly feature the new Snapdragon chip, a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen, 4,900mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and the same camera array as the base S26.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature slightly more raised cameras with a new metallic finish. Samsung may also revert to an aluminum frame for the S26 Ultra, shifting from the titanium frames of the S24 and S25 Ultras. To support Qi2 charging directly, rumors suggest Samsung will remove the S Pen digitizer layer and adopt an alternative stylus input method.

Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. These earbuds are expected to feature a more compact case and less angular stems, based on leaked images from the Samsung Tips app. Both versions are rumored to support head gestures for call management, similar to Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4. SamMobileindicates the new Galaxy Buds may include an Ultra Wideband chip for Google’s Find Hub network integration.

Samsung may provide more details on the widespread availability of the Galaxy Z TriFold at Galaxy Unpacked. The device, announced in late 2025 and demonstrated at CES 2026, folds from a smartphone into a tablet.

The Galaxy S26 Edge will likely remain an additional option, not replacing the “Plus” smartphone. Android Headlines suggests it will feature a different design from last year’s model, with a large rectangular camera plateau and a raised oval reminiscent of Google’s Pixel phones and Apple’s iPhone Air. The phone is also expected to be 5.5mm thick, thinner than the 5.8mm Galaxy S25 Edge.

Samsung is exploring additional AI partnerships beyond its existing relationship with Google. Bloombergreported in June 2025 that Samsung was nearing a deal with Perplexity to integrate its AI-powered search engine into OneUI and its mobile browser. Samsung also accidentally announced a new version of its Bixby AI assistant, which could integrate with Perplexity and serve as an alternative to Google Gemini. These AI features are expected to be showcased at Galaxy Unpacked.
