Teamfight Tactics patch 15.6 introduces a range of updates, including new content celebrating the early access launch of the fighting game 2XKO, significant balance changes to high-cost champions, and adjustments to various traits and augments. The patch also marks the final update for the Ao Shin’s Ascent game mode.
A new Stream Mode feature has been implemented, offering three distinct privacy levels for players. This feature is designed to help streamers avoid targeted harassment in their games. The levels available are:
- Hide Other Names: This setting conceals the names of other players on the user’s screen. The user’s own identity remains visible to others in the game.
- Hide My Name: This option hides the user’s RiotID and in-game name from all other players and third-party applications. However, account progression details like the Profile Pic and Ranked Border will still be visible.
- Hide My Everything: This provides maximum anonymity by hiding the user’s RiotID, Game Name, and all account progression details from other players and third-party apps.
In a crossover with the fighting game 2XKO, several new themed Power-Ups have been added to Teamfight Tactics. These additions bring mechanics and character themes from 2XKO into the auto-battler.
The new Power-Ups are:
-
- 2X Contender: Vi, Ahri, Darius, Yasuo, Jinx, Braum, and Ekko gain 4% Damage Amp and 2% Durability for each unique copy of these champions fielded. The unit holding this Power-Up receives a 75% bonus to these effects. This is a Secondary Power-Up for these champions.
- 2XKO: After securing two takedowns, the champion stuns enemies within a 2-hex radius for 2 seconds and gains a 35% Damage Amp for the remainder of combat. This is a Primary Power-Up for Naafiri, Jayce, Darius, Volibear, and Braum.
- Attempt #37: Ekko’s spell will now prioritize the closest enemy. On cast, he heals for 20% of his Maximum Health and deals 6% more magic damage each time his spell hits the target. This is a Primary Power-Up for Ekko.
- Corner Carry: The champion gains 30% Attack Speed. When their health drops to 75% and later to 25%, they dash to the safest position on the board and gain infinite attack range. This is a Primary Power-Up for Ashe, Kai’Sa, Xayah, and Jinx.
- Denting Blows: Vi’s spell now grants a shield instead of a heal, and the shield amount is increased by 25%. When this occurs, Vi strikes 4 times in quick succession, with each hit reducing the target’s resistances by 5%. This is a Primary Power-Up for Vi.
- Double Down: The champion gains an 18% Damage Amp. When this unit casts its spell, the player’s other Powered Up unit gains 20% of the Mana spent. This is a Primary Power-Up for Ezreal, Janna, and Ahri.
- Fury Break: The champion gains 25% Attack Speed. If the player’s other Powered Up unit dies, this unit gains a burst of 300% Attack Speed that decays over 4 seconds. If this unit dies first, the effect is transferred to the other Powered Up unit. This is a Primary Power-Up for Gnar, Kayle, Xayah, Kog’Maw, Jinx, Ashe, Ziggs, Zyra, and Twisted Fate.
* Noxious Trap: Damage dealt by the champion applies a Burn, a Wound, a 20% Shred, and a 20% Sunder to enemies for 4 seconds. This is a Secondary Power-Up for Malzahar, Senna, Janna, and Twisted Fate.
- Quick Tag: Upon death, this champion spawns another unit of the same role with the same number of items. The spawned unit is 1 cost lower and has 15% reduced Health. This is a Secondary Power-Up for Yasuo, Darius, and Braum.
- Rocket Grab: At the start of combat, the champion gains a 20% Health shield for 4 seconds. When the champion’s target dies, they pull the next target into melee range and regain the shield. This is a Primary Power-Up for Kennen, Rakan, Neeko, and K’Sante, and a Secondary Power-Up for Darius.
- Snax Time: Braum’s casts will also throw 5 Poros at random enemies. Each Poro deals physical damage equal to 200% of Braum’s Base Attack Damage. This is a Primary Power-Up for Braum.
- Stalking Dart: For every 10 Mana Ahri generates, she fires a fox-fire dart at her target, dealing magic damage equal to 5% of her spell’s damage. This is a Primary Power-Up for Ahri.
- Super Mega: Jinx gains 20% Attack Damage. Her every third cast is twice as large and splits 50% more damage among the enemies it hits. This is a Primary Power-Up for Jinx.
- Tentacle Smash: After 4 seconds of combat, the champion stuns enemies within a 3-hex radius for 1 second. This effect repeats every 9 seconds. This is a Primary Power-Up for Vi, Sett, Poppy, Zac, Dr. Mundo, and Aatrox.
- Wind Wall: Yasuo gains 60% Critical Strike Chance and takes 15% reduced damage from non-adjacent enemies. This is a Primary Power-Up for Yasuo.
In game mechanics, the Artifact Anvil Encounter has been disabled from the start of the game to provide players with more flexibility in their early-game strategies.

Malzahar, Senna, and Twisted Fate lost access to Sky Piercer and Solar Breath. Twisted Fate’s Soul Chipper was moved to a Secondary Power-Up. Shen (Twilight Assault) gained Corner Carry, Fury Break, and Storm Bender as Primary Power-Ups.
The Thief’s Gloves item has been updated. It can now roll higher-tier item combinations based on the player’s level, rather than being determined solely by the current game stage.
Finally, a bug has been fixed that previously prevented Augments offered on stage 2-1 from filtering based on the units a player had on their board. This fix is expected to increase the variety of Augments available to players in the early game.
