Roll20 data breach has negatively affected role-playing game fans. Roll20, the popular online desktop game platform, recently suffered a massive data breach. Here are all the details…

The data breach caused great concern among players. The breach on the platform, which has millions of users worldwide, can potentially affect many players, Dungeons & Dragons, and content creators.

All we know about the Roll20 data breach

The Roll20 data breach first became apparent when users noticed unusual activity on their accounts. As the platform hosts a variety of personal information, including email addresses and login credentials, the breach raised concerns about the security of this data. The Roll20 team responded quickly by conducting an internal investigation to understand the scope and impact of the breach.

The Roll20 team said in an email to Cyberdaily:

“Following our investigation, we learned that the unauthorized third party had access to administrative tools, which may have resulted in the exposure of personal information, such as your: first and last name, email address, last known IP address, and the last 4 digits of your credit card (solely if you had a stored payment with us)”.
