New Google Messages Animations are here! Google Messages is constantly focused on innovating to improve the user experience.
With the ability to integrate with cloud services and the excitement of the update, user interest is increasing daily.
Let’s take a closer look at the details of the new feature.
Google Messages Animations: What’s new?
This new animation setting in Google Messages gives users more advanced control to turn animations on and off easily. While not yet officially released, the feature is intended to make the app’s interface more vibrant and fun. You can follow the steps below to turn off or enable animations:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Accessibility and tap on “Color and motion“
- From there, activate the “Remove animations” option
Some users have welcomed the integration of animations with a comprehensive set of emojis. Still, it has also caused some criticism due to details such as the frequency of thumb gestures. The animations include 👍 (like), ❤️ (love), 😂 (smile), 😮 (surprised), 😡 (angry), 👎 (know), 💩 (bad), 🎉 (party), 😠 (angry), 😢 (sad).
Google Messages continues to add animations to enrich the user experience further. However, such innovations are not guaranteed to be equally welcomed by everyone. Google values user feedback and plans to make adjustments over time to optimize the use of these animations and provide a better experience.
