- Elon Musk is creating AI models for truth-seeking in X, his social and entertainment platform. These could soon integrate with X’s system.
- X is enhancing its search features by understanding the context of information. This has also helped reduce actual hate speech on the platform.
- Although not yet ready, Musk’s team is developing the xAI model, which could greatly improve X’s search function and match the platform’s rapid evolution.
Besides his bold goal of building a wider social and entertainment platform, Elon Musk is also focusing his resources on artificial intelligence. He is creating his own AI models that, according to his description, will always pursue the truth and will not be affected by any political agendas.
Elon Musk hinted semantic search on X
In a recent message he posted during the weekend, Musk suggested that this AI endeavor might eventually merge with the X platform.
Elon Musk gave a response to some negative feedback about the existing search feature of X:
We are working on semantic (AI) search. Will show posts of X that match the meaning of your search, not just the text.

X seems to be taking active steps to improve its systems by integrating more context-driven data matching. This move could not only improve search abilities, but also provide new data insights for businesses and creators. By understanding the meaning of a mention within a post, rather than just matching keywords, X hopes to deliver a more complete understanding of information.
X has recently sharpened its efforts to fight hate speech in its application, now focusing on a specific area. Despite what external sources might suggest, a recent study provides a contrasting view on the occurrence of hate speech following Musk’s takeover of the platform in late 20XX. The research considers the context of these mentions, not just keyword matches. Interestingly, the results show a reduction in actual instances of hate speech. In fact, a notable 86% of the slurs used on the app were not intended to be offensive or harmful.
The importance of context is undeniably crucial. X is set to utilize the power of artificial intelligence to effectively categorize and understand text content in-depth. This strategy aims to overcome the shortcomings of simple mention listings, which often lack completeness and precision.
Elon Musk has made it clear that upgrading the platform’s search capabilities is a top priority in the early stages of his leadership. He has also pledged to bring in semantic keyword-based targeting for X advertisements and to set up improved search feedback mechanisms to continually enhance the app’s search function.
Yes. Advertising also needs to be semantic keyword-based, so it’s contextually relevant. Amazingly, ads shown when doing twitter searches don’t consider the search words! We’re changing that as fast as possible.

While these improvements have not yet been realized, it’s worth noting that Musk and his team are diligently working on the xAI model. This model could potentially support these advancements and assist in creating a more effective system for contextual targeting.
This could be a game-changing move that brings about significant improvements. The timeline for the development of this system and its integration with the X app is still unclear. However, it seems that this approach is in line with the rapid evolution of the platform.
So, it’s possible that we might see an upgraded X search system in the near future. Rest assured, we will keep you informed about any developments.
