Are you interested in finding out if the “TikTok long hair no makeup theory” myth is true? We investigated TikTok’s most recent beauty idea.

TikTok, the undeniable leader in social media, is well known for its dancing videos and comedic skits, but it also harkens back to the heyday of YouTube when lifestyle vloggers ruled supreme.

It will be difficult to find a user who hasn’t discovered a beauty tip or fresh look. The app is quickly becoming a platform for aestheticians to discuss trends and ideas. The most recent idea contrasts “short hair, makeup” with “TikTok long hair no makeup theory.”

What is TikTok long hair no makeup theory?

The primary tenet of the “TikTok long hair no makeup theory” vs “short hair, makeup” hypothesis is that a person’s hair length indicates their femininity. Therefore, having long hair makes you appear more feminine and eliminates the need for cosmetics to meet ‘feminine’ beauty standards.

Makeup is therefore promoted for those with short hair to ‘feminize’ their look. The popularity of this unsupported science notion increased last fall.

When this idea initially surfaced last autumn, many people had trouble comprehending what it meant. While the feminine idea is one way to understand the theory, it has also been suggested that your sexual orientation might be revealed by the way you dress.

In the comments area of the video below, a TikTok user suggests using these conflicting styles to convey your sexuality. This is the theory’s largely accepted interpretation when it is resurrected this summer.

The TikTok long hair no makeup theory is not a credible theory

Conspiracy theories and the like may spread over the internet, as is well known. It is important to keep in mind that all of these notions about hair and beauty are based on pseudo-science.

There may be a haircut that best complements the look and dimensions of your face. But because they don’t take into consideration all hair kinds and aesthetic standards, these ideas cannot be seen as being totally accurate.

Not all hair types can benefit from this concept

The ‘length hair, no makeup‘ argument has been debunked as having no basis in science, and it has also been noted that it can uphold unfavorable standards of beauty.

The hypothesis mostly applies to those with straight (or, at most, wavy) hair types. The shrinking that makes it difficult for the hair to seem long in people with hair types 3 and 4 is not taken into account.

Don’t allow this idea to creep into your image, regardless of whether you favor long hair and plenty of makeup or a cropped style with minimal makeup.
