How do you play the NYT Digits game?
There are a lot of tabs in the NYT Digits game, which can make this practice seem hard. But once you know how to play, it’s as easy as pie. Five different jobs are given to each member every day. To move forward, players must do what each number tells them to do. The goal is to get there in as few steps as possible that are still useful.
You can do the math with the six whole numbers. You can’t use more than one number sign in a row. Anything that doesn’t make a positive integer but rather a negative number or a fraction is against the rules.
You can get up to 15 stars because five new Digits tasks are added every day. If you’re having trouble with a certain puzzle, you can switch to a different tab and work on it in a different way. You can give up and find out the answer, but then you won’t get any more stars for completing the job.
How do you win the New York Times Digits game?
How would you get the number 40 if you were told to multiply the numbers 2 through 12? You get 28 when you divide 6 by 8 and then 14 by 2. When you multiply 10 by 12, you get 22. When you multiply it by 28, you get 50. Even though it didn’t get the minimum 40 points, it got one or two stars.
