Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has recently introduced two new paradox Pokemon through its 5-star Tera Raids. One of these new Pokemon is Iron Leaves, also known as Future Virizion, and players can face this formidable opponent in Pokemon Violet.

The concept of paradox forms in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is fascinating as it introduces familiar Pokemon that have taken on different appearances, names, and typings. These paradox Pokemon are believed to have originated either in the ancient past or the distant future. The addition of two more paradox Pokemon, Paradox Virizion and Suicune, was teased through rough sketches found in the Scarlet & Violet books scattered around the Naranja and Uva academies. However, they were not initially found in the game’s code.

Luckily, on February 27th, Pokemon announced a new Tera Raid event featuring both paradox Pokemon in five-star raids.

This means that players can now face the formidable Iron Leaves in Pokemon Violet. It’s an exciting opportunity for trainers to challenge themselves and potentially add this unique and powerful Pokemon to their collections. So, get ready to team up with other trainers and take on the challenging Pokemon Iron Leaves raid!

Pokemon Iron Leaves raid guide: Best counters and more
As the Pokemon Iron Leaves raid is a new addition to the game, trainers are still in the process of testing the best strategies and builds to defeat this powerful Tera Raid boss

The Pokemon Iron Leaves raid is expected to be a tough challenge for even the most experienced trainers. So, it’s important to prepare your team and bring your A-game to the raid battles. Make sure to stock up on potions and revives, and consider teaming up with other trainers to increase your chances of success. The rewards for defeating Iron Leaves are sure to be worth the effort, so don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to catch this rare and powerful paradox Pokemon!

Iron Leaves mechanics

The Pokemon Iron Leaves raid is a 5-star Tera Raid that presents a unique challenge to trainers. Unlike most Pokemon raids, Iron Leaves has a flex move, which means it has five moves instead of the traditional four. This makes it an even more formidable opponent to face in battle. However, Iron Leaves will only use Electric Terrain once at the start of the battle to activate its Quark Drive ability.

Iron Leaves is a Grass/Psychic-type Pokemon, but it will use a Psychic Tera Type for the duration of the event. This means that it will take on all the weaknesses of a Psychic-type Pokemon. It’s important for trainers to keep this in mind when preparing their teams for the raid battle. Additionally, Iron Leaves has a variety of moves in its arsenal, including Psychic, Grass, and Bug-type moves. Trainers will need to be prepared to face these moves and adjust their strategies accordingly.

Defeating Iron Leaves in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet raid will require careful planning and coordination between trainers. It’s crucial to have a well-balanced team that can handle its diverse moveset and exploit its weaknesses. Trainers should consider using Pokemon that are strong against Psychic, Grass, and Bug-type moves, and be sure to bring plenty of healing items to keep their team healthy throughout the battle. With the right strategy and a bit of luck, trainers can emerge victorious in the Pokemon Iron Leaves raid and add this rare and powerful paradox Pokemon to their collection.

Pokemon Iron Leaves: Best counters

As the Pokemon Iron Leaves raid is a new addition to the game, trainers are still in the process of testing the best strategies and builds to defeat this powerful Tera Raid boss. However, there are some general tips that trainers can keep in mind when taking on Iron Leaves.

Firstly, it’s important to consider Iron Leaves’ Psychic weaknesses and its moveset before choosing which Pokemon to bring to the battle. Bug- or Ghost-type Pokemon are a good choice to exploit Iron Leaves’ weaknesses, while Dark-types should be avoided.

One excellent Pokemon to consider bringing to the Iron Leaves raid is Frosmoth. This Bug/Ice-type Pokemon has an impressive moveset that can deal massive damage to Iron Leaves while also providing some useful buffs to the team. With its Quiver Dance move, Frosmoth can boost its own stats and become an even more formidable opponent. Its Bug Buzz move can deal significant damage to Iron Leaves, while Reflect can negate some of the damage dealt to the team. Additionally, Frosmoth can sustain itself with the Leech Life move, making it a versatile and valuable member of any raid team.

As trainers continue to experiment with different strategies and builds, we can expect to see even more effective ways to take down Iron Leaves in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet raid. So, stay tuned for more tips and tricks on how to defeat this challenging Tera Raid boss!
