Throughout the 2020s, the action on TikTok began to be known as the “coconut challenge.”

On the Know Your Meme page, you can also see the origin of the challenge. It was first mentioned by a Twitter user named @danielmaven on February 14, 2019. Daniel said in his tweet: “Writing “COCONUT” using your waist is the trick to master women on top!! Thank me later, ladies!” Later that year, it was discussed in a Kenyan Facebook group, and it spread all around the world. In the video, the rapper gives some extreme reactions. However, if you know Cardi B, it is definitely not extreme by her standards as the rapper is known for her different reactions on certain occasions. The video received over 4.5 million views, and many fans began commenting on it. People who didn’t know the challenge existed have also joined the bandwagon, and now it resurfaced.
