Fans of the series can now start the hype for the upcoming installation of Blizzard’s beloved franchise, as the Diablo 4 Open Beta start date has been hinted at.
The Diablo 4 Open Beta start date is near
Blizzard has revealed that Diablo 4 will be released on June 6, 2023, following a public test. Diablo 4 preorders will get players early access to the open beta. The 2023 release date was finally narrowed down as Blizzard announced the June date for its first try on an open world version of the action-RPG franchise, which was revealed at The Game Awards 2022.
Given that some gamers have already had the opportunity to play Diablo 4, the announcement of a release date seems reasonable. Blizzard opened a restricted beta for Diablo 4’s end-game to ardent fans of the prior games, albeit some videos had previously leaked. Diablo 4 was unveiled at BlizzCon 2019 more than three years ago and has been teased by Blizzard ever since. The game was revealed to include completely customizable characters and armor, with the five classes of Barbarian, Sorceress, Rogue, Druid, and Necromancer remaining.
Diablo 4 will also contain a Battle Pass, however, Blizzard made it clear during the Diablo: Immortal controversy that this version will only offer aesthetic improvements and gamers “will not be able to pay for power”.
