How to recruit Deneb in Tactics Ogre Reborn?

In the past, the process for recruiting the character Deneb in the PSP remake of the 1995 game required obtaining three times the number of certain creatures, which was time-consuming. However, the game has been rebalanced in Tactics Ogre Reborn, likely due to the difficulty of this process as noted by the game’s creator, Yasumi Matsuno.

In Tactics Ogre, there is an option to participate in auctions at shops through the ‘Auction’ menu. This allows players to sell monsters and expand the shop’s inventory of various goods. While this feature can be useful, it is not necessary to complete the game and is not thoroughly explained in the game.

The objective in Tactics Ogre Reborn is to obtain all of the elemental orbs items, which can be equipped and used to cast elemental damage in combat, and make them available for purchase at the shop. Now, you must read the “Mysterious Blast on Exeter” entry in the “Talk” section of the Warren Report, which becomes available fairly early in Chapter Four. The main enemy in this battle may not be particularly difficult, but the horde of enemies can make it challenging. Once you have successfully completed this battle, and followed the instructions in the guide to unlock the Wicce class, Deneb will join your party with her special Wicce class, which has formidable magical capabilities.
