Here’s a “PS5 console exclusive,” as Sony called it (which implies it will eventually be released on PC): Stellar Blade is an action game that makes me think of Bayonetta. If you recall that 2019 announcement, the project was created by the Korean studio Shift Up and was given the codename Project Eve. Released in 2023.
Rise of the Ronin
Another PS5-only title is Rise of the Ronin, a scrolling action role-playing game from Team Ninja. The release date is 2024.
God of War Ragnarök
The conclusion of State of Play saw the introduction of a DualSense controller for God of War Ragnarok.
A new trailer for the God of War Ragnarök.
PlayStation State of Play announcements didn’t last long, but they were exciting. Many games introduced at PlayStation State of Play attracted great attention. But undoubtedly the biggest title was God of War Ragnarök. The Enhanced Edition of Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, released in 2020, the 8th game in the Tekken series excited the enthusiasts. In addition, the new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy may have delighted Harry Potter fans.
Yakuza game fans will look forward to the spin-off Like a Dragon. Rise of the Ronin is also a production with impressive visuals focusing on the Far East as the place where the story takes place. We are currently experiencing the dawn of Far East themed games. Although the event was short-lived, we can say that it was productive. We have plenty of games worth waiting for.
