Twitter Podcasts is launched for Twitter Blue subscribers

Unfortunately, users without a Twitter Blue subscription and those with iOS-only devices will not have access to podcasts for now.

  • The social media platform Twitter is currently rolling out podcasts, and users may now listen audio episodes through their app or the web.
  • Twitter Blue has just launched an update that is available to all service subscribers, In light of the fact that Twitter Podcasts will soon be available on the platform to improve everyone’s audio experience.
  • The service, which is now in the early phases of integration, will only be available to iOS customers along with their Twitter Blue subscriptions.
  • The new Podcasts service requires users to sign up for Twitter Blue on the website; if they choose not to, they will need to find another streaming service to satisfy their audio listening needs.
  • Currently, the sole prerequisite for using the Podcasts feature is having a Twitter Blue membership associated with your account.

Twitter is currently rolling out Podcasts for the social media site, and users may now access audio episodes through their app or the web. It is only accessible through Twitter Blue, a paid subscription service that incorporates cutting-edge social media features and gives subscribers an opportunity to test out the service.

Twitter’s Podcasts are separate from the recognized Twitter Spaces which also offer an audio experience via the app.

Twitter Podcasts is now live via Twitter Blue

Given that Twitter Podcasts will soon be available on the platform to enhance everyone’s audio experience, Twitter Blue just published an upgrade that is accessible to all service subscribers. The function will deliver more audio-based experiences for everyone, including one that offers remarkable lectures from various authors with the intention of sharing them on social media.

Users can access things like live audio rooms, podcast episodes from various artists, themed audio stations, and recorded Spaces content here. It will be in the same button as the Spaces function.

Along with their Twitter Blue subscriptions, the service will only be accessible to iOS users and is now in the early stages of integration. Users of Android and the web will need to wait till it launches in the future to access the Podcasts.

Twitter Blue subscription is needed for podcasts

Unfortunately, customers without a Twitter Blue subscription and those with iOS-only devices will not have access to podcasts at this time. Twitter announced that through the Blue membership service, it will also grant other users early access to new services from Twitter Labs.

Users who choose to use the new Podcasts service must sign up for Twitter Blue on the website; otherwise, they will have to find another streaming service to meet their audio listening demands.
