Xiaomi smart glasses specifications
Surprisingly, these glasses are aimed at individuals who lead an active lifestyle, despite the fact that those who had to wear glasses at school usually did not, unless you count running away from bullies as exercise. The Google Glass-style gadget, dubbed Mijia, has a single display and two cameras: a 50 MP main and an 8 MP periscope camera capable of up to 15x zoom and 100 minutes of continuous recording, according to the manufacturer.
The glasses have a single Sony Micro OLED with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits and a pixel density of 3,281 PPI. The camera/display upper may be fastened to glasses frames or worn alone. The glasses are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core processor and come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, dual Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. A 1,020mAh internal battery is linked with magnetic 10W charging, which the manufacturer claims can charge from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The startup is promoting the glasses primarily as a pair of camera glasses for filming ordinary events, however, the uncomfortable and big form factor will make all-day usage difficult. The glasses can translate in real-time, display “AR effects,” screencast, and “other features will also be online in the subsequent OTA update.”
Mijia price and release date
Xiaomi is first targeting consumers in China after the discounted pre-order period, which is slated to begin on 4 August the device will sell for $400. It’s uncertain whether Xiaomi is going to market outside of China.
The glasses are significantly more chunky in comparison to the future smart glasses concept the company teased earlier this year, which was closer to the size of actual glasses. It’s certainly less discrete than Meta’s Ray-Ban Stories, which don’t include a display of any sort and only allow for 30-second recording sessions with a dull 5 MP sensor.
