How to beat Cuphead Moonshine Mob boss?
This fight includes multiple phases, and each phase features a different character that you must defeat.
Cuphead Moonshine Mob boss guide
Although it initially appears to be rather simple, the fight contains a few curveballs that can easily trip you up. So, this is how to beat Cuphead Moonshine Mob boss.
Phase 1
If you’ve been playing video games for a while, the initial phase should feel similar. Your first challenger will be a large spider that will run across three platforms that span the entire length of the screen. While you’re focused on avoiding it, further dangers will emerge to catch your attention.
You may easily get out of the path if you see flies coming from behind you and they won’t bother you. It will be easier if you use a gun like Crackshot because you don’t actually need to aim. Cops will suddenly arise from the sides and start firing cloud-like projectiles at you. If you’re on the lookout for parries, you might see these ones in pink.
A green worm will also be slapped across the screen by the Spider, and it will bounce in all directions. Bombs are the last danger to watch out for. These take a moment to burst, but they erupt when you get close. The best course of action is to deliberately destroy them to create space for yourself.
Phase 2
In the second stage, a fly of some kind will take the place of the spider and place a gramophone in the center. The sound waves will rotate around it and fill the entire screen, but they won’t be able to harm you until they become red. The previous cops will now only sprint over the platforms, as will a brand-new foe. But those can come in pink too. This concludes this stage.
The optimal course of action during this phase is to stay on any line other than the center one while repeatedly using Smoke Dash or Ms. Chalice’s indestructible ground roll whenever the pentagrams are ready to strike you. Shoot the dancer in the centre while avoiding them and the other adversaries.
Phase 3
The evil snail will then emerge on top of a huge anteater and hide behind its hat. The platforms are now split down the center, and the anteater will attempt to trick you by using its bizarre face tube device. You won’t have to worry about it if you just stay ahead of it. Continue firing and be on the lookout for police officers battling insects that will flutter around like the green worms earlier.
While paying attention to the balls and the monster’s own swift movements, the tough part of the boss is that you need to hit its nose, not its tongue. When the balls are broken, a weapon like Chaser, which tracks the adversary regardless of where you are shooting, might be quite helpful. You can also hit the boss while it is doing its long tongue attack by using long-range weaponry.
Final phase
The enjoyable part now begins. You’ll get what appears to be a brand-new Knockout image after you vanquish the anteater, but it’s phony! After a brief pause, the snail will resurface and begin shooting at you. Just pop the snail a few times to obtain the true Knockout; these bullets are quick yet preventable.
Always aim for the center of the screen because the snail won’t move. Beware, though, as its bullets can move quickly. Additionally, one may parry (the pink one). After winning this combat, you’ll receive the component Distillery Dough as reward. If you want to learn how to get the Cuphead Cursed Relic, we got you covered.
