WoW Evoker class overview
The Evoker is a brand-new hero class in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight that harnesses the power of the five dragonflights to both harms its opponents and heal its allies while utilizing Mail protection for defense. This character has the capacity to function as either a healer or a ranged damage dealer.
What races can play Evoker?
The Evoker class is unique in the Dragonflight expansion since it is the only one of its kind: the Dracthyr. This is because all of an Evoker’s skills are focused on utilizing the abilities specific to each of the five dragonflights, and part-dragon they are! The Dracthyr is also one of a kind among Azeroth’s races in that they can join either the Alliance or Horde.
How to level up an Evoker?
The Evoker class is a hero class rather than a conventional one, as they do not begin at Level 1 like other classes. A newly-made Evoker will start at Level 58 (out of a maximum level of 70) and go through their own unique beginning experience in the Dragon Isles to learn all about their abilities.
WoW Evoker specializations
The Evoker has two specializations:
- Devastation: This is a ranged damage specialization that primarily focuses on the magic of the red and blue dragonflights to damage opponents at range with various concentrated spells and enormous breath attacks. This specialty may be perfect for you if you’ve ever wanted to unleash your inner Onyxia!
- Preservation: The healer specialization largely uses the green and bronze dragonflights’ magic to heal allies with breaths and even rewind time on their injuries.
Unique Evoker abilities
The Evoker is a powerful wizard able to command the powers of all five Dragonflights and perform a wide range of prismatic spells that change according on the flight’s magic, such as Pyre, which is derived from the red flight. They can also Glide like a Demon Hunter and even go one step further by soaring over the field while raining fire upon their enemies. An Evoker may use their claws for damage or generate a Wing Buffet to harm and push back foes when battling up close.
Evoker’s empowered abilities
The Evoker’s toolkit has one more exciting feature: Empowered Abilities. These skills have the potential to grow in strength as you hold down the keybind longer until you choose to release it. You can also adjust this hold and release method via gaming settings.
