Six new features for voice messages on WhatsApp
WhatsApp introduced six new voice messaging features including draft preview, the ability to pause and resume the message, out-of-chat playback, and the global voice message player.
Out of chat playback
Users may now listen to voice communications outside of the chat for the first time. This implies you can multitask on your phone and hear the voice message you just got through the program at the same time.
Pause and resume recording
You may now stop and resume a recording at any time during the process, rather than just when it’s finished. This will offer a better communication experience, you will be able to stop and think about what you’ll say next.
Remember playback
If you pause a voice message while listening, you may resume from where you left off when you return to the conversation.
Fast playback on forwarded messages
You may now play voice messages at 1.5x or 2x speed, which will allow you to hear them more quickly. The function is available for both normal and forwarded voice messages.
Waveform visualization
This functionality will provide a visual representation of the voice message’s sound and help listeners follow the recording.
Draft preview
Users may preview their own recorded voice messages before sending them using this function.
