If you don’t know how to win Arena Battles in Shadow Warrior 3, we are going to help you out! The latest FPS installment from Flying Wild Hog is a new arena shooter game full of action. You could discover that the arenas are entertaining and full of weapons to utilize against your opponents, but the game sometimes might be overwhelming when you consider how many foes there are. That is why we’ve decided to prepare an arena guide.
How to win Arena Battles in Shadow Warrior 3?
The easiest response is to always alternate weapons, whether it’s other weapons or your Dragontail (katana), before determining whether you have any upgrades. Because in Shadow Warrior 3 there are some guns that require long reload times like Crimson Bull or Basilisk (railgun) and even seconds are important in fierce combat. You want to keep your momentum going at all times.
Move around constantly and switch weapons. When you switch a weapon it will be fully loaded and you can maximize your damage output with this simple trick. Use the following method to dispatch any foes you encounter more rapidly, and once it’s finished, you’ll hear a drum pounding or see yellow thorns spring up that you can smash to continue.
If you want more efficient and precise techniques, consider upgrading the Dragontail (katana) when you’ve earned enough white weapon upgrade points in the game. The third level of this set adds three extra special elemental status effects that may be unlocked, two of which are highly effective in halting your opponents in their tracks with shock and freeze attacks.
The Sidekicks also have an excellent upgrade chain, including the Basilisk, which has capabilities such as freezing nearby foes. The key advantages of these improvements are that you can stop groups of enemies in their tracks and fire on them with no resistance.
The disadvantage of upgrading is that you have to search for a lot of upgrade points, so we’d recommend first using the ones provided by challenges on the weapons listed above. Finding additional upgrade points is feasible, but there’s no map to rely on, so you’ll have to go over stages multiple times in order to get them all.
We recommend Gore weapons too because when you perform finishers you will also restore your HP. So here’s a summary:
- Switch weapons in arenas
- Swapping back and forth between the Dragontail and one weapon is sufficient.
- Get “shock” or “freeze” upgrades
- Gore weapons are good in order to restore your HP.
The game has been launched on March 1st on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This is the Shadow Warrior 3 Steam link, so you can download the game as soon as possible!
