It also allows creators to come up with innovative ways to put together a coherent video in a limited amount of time.
Longer videos in TikTok: Is it the way to go?
TikTok, on the other hand, has been experimenting with the notion of allowing for longer videos in order to increase their ad revenue. The idea is that by allowing videos to be longer in duration, there will be more spaces for advertising, which allows the company to make more money.
Surprisingly, according to a survey conducted by WIRED, over half of TikTok’s userbase believe that videos longer than a minute are “stressful” to view. Despite this, the business believes that videos with greater duration are the way forward.
