Just because it’s NBA All-Star Weekend Twitter is looking for ways to get people involved. A variety of hashflags and live activations will bring Twitter’s global audience into the party.
Twitter, just as it has with any enormous event, has launched its newest hashflags, including a star symbol linked to the #NBAAllStar hashtag.

NBA All-Star Weekend actions are live on Twitter
The All-Star Game’s official hashtag and accompanying icons have been added to the platform. The social network has also introduced similar symbols for #TeamLeBron and #TeamDurant, allowing users to interact with their favorite All-Star team and players in various ways.
In addition, Twitter is collaborating with the NBA in order to bring HBCU Classic participants closer with NBA All-Stars.

“Morgan State and Howard basketball players who will be playing in the HBCU Classic Game will be able to Tweet questions they want to ask All-Stars, and Twitter and the NBA will then video capture All-Stars reading the questions and answering them for the student during All-Star Practice on 2/19.”
Twitter will also help promote the All-Star Celebrity Game, with the lineup for which was initially revealed on Twitter Spaces, and it’ll be hosting two #NBATwitterLive shows and two Twitter Spaces during All-Star Weekend.
