The firm held its first Samsung Unpacked 2022 event, where it revealed a new range of Galaxy S22 smartphones: the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus. Samsung also introduced the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which includes a stylus as standard. It’s essentially an upgrade to the discontinued Galaxy Note series.
The S22 Ultra has a faster response time for the S-Pen, according to Samsung. The other modifications are minor, with the most significant being a slight redesign and improved night capabilities in the camera. Despite being Samsung’s primary flagships, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus are somewhat iterative. These phones are very similar to last year’s models, but they’re more durable and have improved portrait mode capability.
Finally, Samsung has a new high-powered Android tablet with the Galaxy Tab S8 — which features a notch.
