Instagram new features are revealed. Instagram is adding a number of new features to the photo-sharing platform. The app with the most downloads in India last year will provide users with a variety of new choices for managing their Feed, including during video calls, 3D emojis, and more.
What are the Instagram new features?
Instagram will soon present its new features to its users in order to increase the user experience.
Chronological order in feed
Instagram is testing new feed choices that will give users more control over the content they want to see in their Home Feed. Instagram will provide two alternatives – ‘Following’ and ‘Favourites.’ By default, the ‘Following’ choice will show all postings from the accounts that the user is following, whereas the ‘Favourites’ option will display items from their ‘Favourite’ lists. Both options will show posts in chronological order by default.
Screen sharing
It’s also been said that Instagram may be developing a screen-sharing feature for video chats. There isn’t much information about this function, and how Instagram intends to use it.
New profile banner
Instagram has now introduced a new profile banner for members under which they can post their planned live event on their profiles and share the next live event through Stories.
Rearrange posts
Instagram is now testing this function in a few areas. Users can rearrange the stories on their feed as they see fit using it. The feature is still under active development, and we don’t know when it will be implemented to the stable version of the app.
3D Avatars
Instagram recently introduced a similar 3D Avatar feature for Instagram Stories. The function, as the name implies, allows users to make their own 3D Avatars and use them in Stories, GIFs, and other media forms. While it is currently in the rollout phase, it may take some time to reach everyone.
Profile embeds
Instagram has just started testing a new feature called Profile embeds in the United States, which is anticipated to be rolled out to additional countries soon. The Profile embeds enable users to include their whole Instagram profile on third-party websites, similar to post embeds.
Paid subscriptions
Instagram is now testing paid subscriptions in the United States. Users will be able to subscribe to their favorite creator for access to subscription-only material and stories. The option is presently being put through its paces with a select few media individuals in the US, and it is expected to roll out worldwide soon.
90 seconds Reels
Instagram is currently testing a 90-second video limit for Reels. For Reels, the firm now allows you to record 15, 30, and 60-second videos.
