You can learn how to cancel Netflix’s subscription auto-renewal with this article.
It’s easy to open a Netflix account. You will be prompted to select either “debit” or “credit” when setting up your account. Your payment method will be charged automatically each month depending on the plan you selected for that month.
It goes on like that, your billing info gets charged automatically every 30 days so you can keep using Netflix.
How to cancel Netflix subscription auto-renewal?
Right now, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the problem of online piracy, but two main solutions exist.
Change/Update billing info
Changing your Netflix subscription payment information makes sure you do not get charged for a particular card. This way you can avoid paying for things you do not want to pay for.
- Open the Netflix app thus signing into your account.
- Tap on the profile icon by the top right corner.
- Choose “Account” from the list of options that pop out next.
- On the new page, scroll down and select “Manage Payment Info”.
- Tap on the blue-colored “Edit” link below the hidden card’s number. Then proceed to remove the former billing info and enter a new one.
Cancel membership
To prevent Netflix from charging you for the next 30-days, cancel your account before the next billing date. If you do this, you’ll still be able to use Netflix’s services until your current subscription expires at which point you will lose the account until you are ready to subscribe again.
- Open the Netflix app.
- Tap on the profile icon by the top right corner.
- Choose “Account” from the list of options that pop out next.
- Scroll down and choose “Cancel Membership”. Stick to the prompts to successfully cancel your Netflix subscription.
You can reactivate your account within a 10-month period but it would have to be within that 10-month period to make sure all the details are still in place.
