Microsoft goes for a name change, from now Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription service will be called PC Game Pass. This move makes sense in order to avoid confusion because Xbox Game Pass is a different subscription plan. Both have their original game libraries.

There are more than 100 console games on Xbox Game Pass, titles from Xbox Game Studios are released on day one for subscribers of the service. PC Game Pass has its own available games library and it also gives access to EA Play.
By the way, Game Pass Ultimate offers a lot of advantages from both subscription packages. Game Pass Ultimate gives access to PC and console games, Xbox Live Gold, cloud gaming and EA Play.

Meanwhile, Microsoft announced several more games that will be available to download in the coming weeks through their PC Game Pass subscription:
- Sniper Elite 5
- Pigeon Simulator
- Trek to Yomi
- Unannounced Hugecalf Studios game
