WhatsApp has added a new feature to its beta version that allows users to pause recording audio messages, that way a user will be able to listen to the voice message before sending it.
Now, this feature has reached the beta version of the application and we have been able to test it in detail. If you want to try it out just download the beta version 2.21.20.8.
WhatsApp adds a new interface for voice messages
There are many users who like to hear what they have said in their audio messages. Until now, this could only be done after the voice message has been sent.
However, the company has just added a new feature in beta version 2.21.20.8 that lets users pause the recording and listen to it before sending it to anyone else.
How do the new WhatsApp voice messages work?
If you send voice messages without swiping up you will not see any change in the interface. You must swipe up while recording the audio to keep the microphone active, then a series of new buttons will be shown.
If you tap on the stop button, you can end the recording. You can also press play to start listening to your voice messages.
If you do not like the voice message, you just have to click on the trash can button before you send it.
How to access the new audio message interface in WhatsApp?
To enjoy this new feature you have several options. You can either wait for this feature to come to the stable version, or you can download version 2.21.20.8 from APKMirror.
