What is PlayStation Plus?
PlayStation Plus is a monthly service offered by Sony:
- You can play online games with other people using this service.
- With PS Plus you get two free games monthly, which you can download on your console and play without an internet connection. After that month you can no longer download the games, although if you already have them installed on your console you can continue to play.
- You get additional discounts on the PlayStation Store of up to 75%.
- You can access demos and betas before other players.
- You will be granted 100GB online storage.
What is PlayStation Now?
PlayStation Now is a video game streaming service offered by Sony (similar to Google Stadia and Apple Arcade). This service requires a good internet connection and it offers:
- Access to a library of over 800 games, including PlayStation 2, 3 and 4 games.
- You can stream games on your Windows computer, on your PS4, PS Vita and even on your Sony TV.
- You used to be able to rent games, but this option is no longer available.
