How to connect a PS5 controller to an Android phone?
PS5 DualSense controller can be easily and quickly connected to an Android device. Just follow these steps:
- First, activate Bluetooth on the Android phone. To do this, scroll down the notification bar and look for the Bluetooth button; press it and access the paired devices section, to detect those that are nearby. Just press that button on the bar for a second or two, or access that section through the mobile phone settings.
- Then press on the PS button (the one in the center, next to the joysticks and has the PlayStation logo) and the create button (the one in the upper right corner of the directional buttons). Do this until a blue light flashes on the controller; this indicates that the Bluetooth is pairing and the connection mode has been activated.
- Now go back to the Bluetooth section of the Android phone and click on the device that represents the PS5 controller, which is called Wireless Controller. The controller will be connected to the mobile phone and you can start playing any compatible game.
There are many soccer games, shooters, adventure games, racing games, RPG games and other genres that are compatible with the PS5 controller. However, not all of them are 100% compatible, it is worth noting. At the same time, some buttons on the controller may be left without functions within the game, as they exceed the number of buttons on the controller as such.
Playing with the controller on an Android phone can be an advantage in the game, mostly because of how comfortable it is. Of course, forget about haptic feedback and some features that we will only find with PS5 titles.
