Google’s new smart wristband Fitbit Charge 5 has been leaked. Google is about to launch its first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, but in the meantime, it is finalizing the launch of a wristband under the Fitbit brand.
Wearables seem to be experiencing a second youth, with very interesting proposals such as the Huawei Watch 3 or the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. Google is even preparing a watch with Wear OS 3, the Pixel Watch.
But, while the latter is announced, we will have other wearable devices by the Mountain View company, within Fitbit, a company it bought at the end of 2019.
The new Fitbit Charge 5 premieres design
As the quantification bracelets are increasing the diagonal of your screen and get closer to the aesthetics of watches, they are gaining in presence. The design of the new Fitbit Charge 5, leaked by Evan Blass, is a good example.
With respect to last year’s model, we have a much more elegant and powerful design, with eye-catching colors but more focused on design than sport, at least in the tones that have been seen, for now, black, blue, and gold.
It reminds us of the proposals of Honor and Huawei, which have been presenting bracelets with a much more elaborate design than those we have seen in the first models.
